Benny Apraim

Before joining the banking sector, Mr. Apraim worked as a Project Engineer with Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation (KELTRON), gaining valuable industrial exposure that would later complement his expertise in project assessment and financing.

His journey in technical consultancy began in 1989 with the Technical Consultancy Cell of State Bank of Travancore (now State Bank of India), where he underwent extensive training in project finance, industrial engineering, capacity assessment, costing, project appraisal, and operational analysis. Over the course of his career, he became one of the most experienced professionals in project evaluation within the SBI ecosystem.

Mr. Apraim has conducted more than 300 Techno-Economic Viability studies and over 100 rehabilitation studies across diverse sectors including renewable energy, tourism, healthcare, infrastructure, manufacturing, seafood processing, textiles, engineering, and commercial real estate.
